The new UltraGrip 8 is a directional tyre and the first to use Goodyear’s patented 3D-BIS (Block Interlocking System) Technology™ throughout the entire tyre tread pattern which provides
more grip, improved handling and shorter braking distances. In some situations, one metre shorter braking distance can make a big difference and the Ultragrip 8 offers more grip and shorter
breaking distance on snow and ice and improved handling on both dry and wet roads. The use of an advanced winter tread compound not only optimizes mileage, but also enhances control on slippery
conditions and increases aquaplaning performance. A higher net contact area and v-tread design increases performance as the tyre wears.
