Product description
The Meteo HP is a winter tyre that has been produced without compromise: excellent on snow and ice, safe on any road surface and capable of travelling at high speeds on the motorway (up to speed
rating V). Designed specifically for sports cars, large saloons and estates where performance, weight and dimensions require the use of larger rims.
The Meteo HP utilises the most advanced technologies developed by Marangoni, particularly the new SPE (Solid Particles Encapsulation) technology encapsulating crystals measuring just a few microns in size into the tyre compound which provides both maximum grip on ice and exceptional road holding on snow due to the microscopic hollow spots generated by the progressive separation of the crystals.
The Meteo HP has an asymmetrical tread pattern combining four deep longitudinal grooves that effectively prevent aquaplaning with dense siping at a variable angle that provides maximum grip on snow and ice. This pattern and quality compound significantly reduce driving noise and rolling resistance offering a higher level of driver comfort and fuel efficiency. A reduced PAH oil content means the Meteo HP is environmentally friendly tyre.
